October is here, and it’s our busiest month yet as retailers gear up for the Holidays! Let's get into into the tips below to make the most of the season.


Top Trending Search Terms 🍁

Now’s the time to optimize your product names and descriptions with seasonal keywords where they fit (but no need to add them everywhere—it can hurt conversions!). Seasonal Collections also work well; consider creating a few and sharing them via an email campaign.

Easier Image Upload Process

Good news! Faire has lifted the limit on image uploads per product and enhanced the bulk uploader. Now, replacing existing images is smoother than ever.


Promoted Listings

Brands using Promoted Listings have seen fantastic results, averaging a 4-6x ROAS this year—some even reaching 8-12x! With seasonality at its peak in October, this is the ideal moment to keep Promoted Listings active to reach new retailers and maximize year-end sales. Have you tried Promoted Listings for Faire yet? We've been using Promoted Listings on Faire for about 7-8 months, with an average return on ad spend (ROAS) of 3.7x. The results, however, feel a bit skewed since Faire calculates ROAS based on projected first-year sales rather than the initial purchase—there’s no guarantee of repeat orders, so the numbers may not fully reflect actual returns. You have to watch this since it can lead to a cash flow crunch. Additionally, as an Insider Partner, we received a $500 monthly ad spend credit from Faire from July through October as a thank you.

According to Faire’s reporting, we’ve acquired 26 new customers through Promoted Listings this month. They suggest increasing our ad spend to between $800 and $1,600 to bring in more new customers. For now, I’m holding off on that and waiting to review the stats after a full year. It’ll be interesting to see what the numbers look like then!
